Mr. Baker has 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare software and services, at three Fortune 100 companies and a succession of angel- and venture-backed firms. During the past 15 years he has established a successful track record of positioning early stage companies for accelerated growth, resulting in exceptional operational and economic performance. As a CEO, Jerry has successfully raised over $10M in angel and venture funding for the companies he has represented, achieved recognition in the Inc. 500, Deloitte and Touche Fast 500, MidAtlantic Venture Summit Top 100 and more, while navigating successful acquisitions on both the “buy” and “sell” side. He has been on the boards of directors of seven companies and has served as an advisor for Panasonic Corporation and Medivo Inc. Prior to his private sector career, Jerry achieved the rank of captain in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an artillery Guns Platoon Commander as well as Aerial Observer in the OV-10 Bronco aircraft, with 5 years’ active duty and 5 years in the reserves.
Prior to joining Notifi Health, Patrick served as Senior Vice President of Technology Development at Halfpenny Technologies, where he directed the software development team from 2007 through 2012. He was instrumental in bringing to market SaaS and mobile (iOS/Android/Blackberry) products that provided integration for hospital, laboratory and EHR systems. Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the information technology industry. He has published technical articles in several IT industry journals and has presented on various software development topics. His degrees include a B.S. in Information Systems and an M.S. in Software Engineering, both from Drexel University. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS). He holds a certificate in Project Management from Penn State. He is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD). Patrick runs at least two full marathons per year, including the Boston Marathon in 2010 and 2012.
Mark has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare technology industry. He began his career as a systems analyst with a large hospital network in the Midwest, where he focused on the roll-out of ancillary clinical systems. Mark later joined Siemens Medical Solutions as an implementation consultant focused on radiology information systems and the integration with PACS and speech recognition systems. During his time with Siemens, Mark worked very closely with the development organization as one of the select few consultants charged with implementing new products.
Mark joined Notifi Health in the same capacity and continued to work closely with Siemens’ development group on high profile projects in the U.S. and overseas. Mark recognized a need in the marketplace for a system to expedite the distribution of critical information and approached some of his fellow consultants with the concept for the Notifi intelligent communications platform, subsequently becoming one of the founding partners of Notifi Health. Mark moved on to become the Notifi Product Manager and Interim Director of Product Development. Once the QA, Product Management, Implementation, and Support organizations were combined to form the Enterprise Solutions department, Mark became the Director of Enterprise Solutions and subsequently VP of Enterprise Solutions. Prior to attending college Mark served in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division as an Air Assault Infantryman.
Reece leads a team of account managers and implementation specialists to oversee the full life cycle project execution of Notifi. His primary focus is ensuring client satisfaction, timely implementation, and project success for Notifi Health’s growing client base. In his 15+ years of consulting and project management, Reece has specialized in building client relationships, solving healthcare clients’ business needs, developing best practices, expanding user growth and managing complex data integrations. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management Information Systems and Accounting Information Systems from the University of Alabama, Huntsville. He also has an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Western Governor’s University. During his spare time, he enjoys cooking, welding, and restoring classic automobiles.
Jen has been working in the healthcare industry for over ten years. Her career started out in the analytical chemistry and biochemistry research industry. Having a strong project-centric approach in her laboratory career eventually propelled her into managing projects in the healthcare IT industry.
Between 2008 and 2013 Jen was an implementation analyst at Halfpenny Technologies, where she worked with one of the largest reference labs in the country, providing project management and implementation services for interfaces between lab LIS systems and a variety of EMRs. Soon after Jen became a Lead Implementation Analyst , training and managing a team to adopt effective project management skills and efficiently bring a higher volume of projects to completion. Her role grew into that of a Senior Project Manager focused on managing multiple large and small reference and hospital labs as well as specializing in the management of payer interfaces and web portal projects. She was crucial in the building and structuring of the PM department and earned a certificate in project management from Penn State University.
In 2013 Jen became a Senior Technical Project Manager at Alpha Systems, where she took on the responsibility of managing EDM projects for multiple multimillion-dollar hospital contracts, and assisted with the reorganization of their PM Department. Jen is an avid boater and fisher who in her free time will most likely be found on her boat somewhere on the Jersey Shore coastline.
